We left Ayamonte on 1st. February to join 'Desert Detours' for a 3 week tour of Morocco. Here we are joining a group of 14 other motorhomes at Algeciras. The overnight stop was a truck stop ready for an early crossing to Ceuta in the morning.
Waiting to board the ferry at Ceuta was fairly well organised and we were soon on our way to Morocco. We had a lovely view of Gibraltar sadly the camera was in the van.
Crossing the border into Morocco was a complete shambles. We were three hours in all and would have most certainly given up had it not been for Desert Detours assuring us that it is always like this. We re-grouped on a car park and headed for our first overnight campsite.
I think he is saying 'Morocco welcomes you'
The journey to Chefchaouen in the Rif mountains was spectacular.
